Production potential and economic analysis of different rice-based cropping systems in north-west India

摘要

The experiment was conducted in the Central Plain Zone Region of Punjab state during 2010-12 under All India Coordinated Research Project on Cropping Systems (cultivators' fields). The productivity in terms of REY (167.3 q/ha) and system productivity(45.8 kg grain/ha/day) was highest for rice-green pea-summer moongbean as compared to rice-wheat and all other crop sequences. The rice-green pea-summer moongbean, rice-green pea and rice-green pea-summer mash sequences were foundo be maximum stable having stability index of 0.99. On the other hand, the maximum net returns of Rs. 105426/ha, maximum profitability of Rs. 289/ha/day and maximum B : C ratio of 2.6 were obtained from rice-gobhi sarson-summer moongbean.
