Study on intracellular cellulase and ligninase in germplasm of Jatropha curcas.

摘要

Eighty-eight accessions of Jatropha curcas collected from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttaranchal, India, were studied to determine enzyme activities, particularly for cellulase, laccase, peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase [catechol oxidase] enzymes. All the accessions had strong laccase activity and low peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase and cellulase activities.
