摘要

Four types of height growth models, three types of diameter growth models and two types of dbh (diameter at breast height) growth models were developed and used to compare growth characteristics of three multipurpose tree species (Acacia tortilis, Leucaena leucocephala and Hardwickia binata) grown in silvopastoral systems in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was found that the models for height growth, and diameter growth, dy=a yb cy developed for height and diameter growth of the three tree species were in agreement with the observed data of height and diameter over twelve years. The comparison of models for dbh growth shows that the model dbh=a (CD)b was the best fit.
