DNA polymorphism in Medicago species as revealed by RAPD analysis.

摘要

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis using seven random primers on 52 accessions representing 32 Medicago species was conducted to estimate the level of similarity/dissimilarity. In total, 203 unambiguous polymorphic RAPD bands were scored. Similarity matrix indicated that none of the two accessions showed 100% similarity. In total, 7 clusters were observed constituting approximately more than two accessions. The highest similarity between two accessions (93%) was observed in two accessions of M. scutellata. The two released cultivars of M. sativa grouped in one cluster together with the accessions of M. laciniata, M. papillosa and M. rigidula.
