The article presents the author's views on the thesis "Climatic Variability or Grazing? Trans Himalayan Rangeland Dynamics in the Context of Global Changes: Integration of Remote Sensing/GIS Analysis and Geographical Fieldwork" by Keshav Prasad Paudel. He comments that It is an ambitious attempt to integrate insights and methods from several disciplines is reflected in the thesis. He remarks that the basis of the most of the thesis is primary quantitative and qualitative data.
