Technocratic Dreams and Troublesome Beneficiaries: The Sardar Sarovar (Narmada) Project in Gujarat.

摘要

The article presents the author's comments on a theses on Sardar Sarvar Project (SSP) in Gujarat, India, by Guru Aandhal which is a gigantic and complex project beyond dam construction and covers the planning period between 1980 and 2006. He comments that although she could have engaged more extensively, she deals quite effectively with existing work on the Narmada Project.
