摘要

A model for the prediction of the noise of underground garages in urban residential areas is presented. The computer simulation model using random point sound sources is based on acoustical principles and probability theory. Direct and reflected sound rays from a random point source are considered using geometrical acoustics to formulate a theoretical model to estimate the noise impacts of the underground garage. Two examples of interest are proposed, and noise propagation for a specific building design is analyzed using the simulation program. Comparisons between predicted results and measured values of sound pressure levels demonstrate that model predictions are within acceptable accuracy. (C) 2004 Institute of Noise Control Engineering.
