Two rare ammonite species are recorded and illustrated for the first time front the Tithonian of Tunisia: Simocosmoceras cf. adversum (OPPEL) and Micra-canthoceras (Corongoceras) symbolum carthaginoustensis n. subsp. These records are interpreted in the ecological context of metapopulation dynamics.
