Middle Famennian (Late Devonian) ammonoids from the Anti-Atlas of Morocco. 3. Tornoceratids

Tornoceratid ammonoids are accessory middle Famennian goniatites in the Anti-Atlas of Morocco. Based on conch morphology and suture line, seven species can be separated. Gundolficeras, Posttornoceras, Discoclymenia and Alpinites can be used as supplementary tools for a goniatite-based biozonation in the sections in the Anti-Atlas of Morocco. Species of these genera show little intraspecific variability. The new species Gundolficeras vescum, Gundolficeras rhombiforme, Gundolficeras reisdorfi, Posttornoceras elegantum, Posttornoceras ouaoufilalense and Discoclymenia pola are described.
