摘要

For improving the adhesion between fibres and matrices within chemical modification of fibre surface is the mostly used. Different surface modifying additives were produced and used to eliminate the incompatibility problems of carbon and glass fibres in thermoplastics and thermosets. Favourable changes were primary observed in bigger resistance against tensile stresses but the positive effects of surface modifying of additives also could be observed during dynamic mechanical tests. The positive adhesion improving affect of surface modifying additives could be also followed via SEM technique.
