Felling height plays important role along with felling intensity in restocking of the growing stock of bamboo species. Most appropriate felling height and felling intensity to manage clump forming (Dendrocalamus longispathus and Dendrocalamus hamiltonii} and non-clump forming (Melocanna baccifera} bamboo species on sustainable basis are reported.
