The Effect of Organic Fertilizer to The Growth of Gigantochloa robusta Kurz. During Two Years after Planted

The effect of organic fertilizer to the growth of Gigantochloa robusta Kurz. planted by culm cutting method have been discussed. Two kinds of organic fertilizer, chicken dung and cow dung were applied by seven treatments : Control (A), 0.5 kg/hole ofchicken dung (B), 1 kg/hole of chicken dung (C), 0.5 kg/hole of cow dung (D), 0.5 kg/hole of cow dung (E), 0.5 kg/hole of chicken dung~+ cow dung (F) and 1 kg/hole of chicken dung~+ cow dung (G). Three parameters; number of culm/clump, culm diameter andculm height were investigated at one and two years after treatments. The result showed that organic fertilizer treatments give high growth as shown at almost all parameters when compared with those in control for both during one and two years after treatments.
