摘要

A novel spade-shaped microstrip-fed ultrawideband planar monopole antenna with dual band-notched characteristics is presented. Dual narrow band-notched characteristics are achieved by employing an X-shaped slot on the radiating patch and a split-ring resonator on the backed side. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed antenna satisfies the voltage standing wave ratio requirement of less than 2.0 in the frequency band of 3-12 GHz, except two frequency stop-bands of 3.3-3.9 GHz and 5.70-6.05 GHz. Moreover, measured group delay and transmission characteristics indicate that the proposed antenna has good transient response.
