Comments on 'New insight into the structure of the Nuussuaq Basin, central West Greenland' from Chalmers, Pulvertaft, Marcussen and Pedersen (Marine and Petroleum Geology, 1999, 16, 197-234)

We aim at discussing the views of Chalmers, Pulvertaft, Marcussen and Pedersen (1999) on the structure of the Nuussuaq Basin, West Greenland. This relatively late comment follows a recent field trip to this area which persuaded us that some of the points developed by Chalmers, Pulvertaft, Marcussen and Pedersen (1999) could lead to confusion in the tectonic and geodynamic understanding of the entire region.
