National fur foods: 50 years of research - mink pellets

I became a consultant to National Fur Foods Co. as of February 1, 1955. Prior to my association with the company, studies on "dry" diets, i.e., a meal mixed with water to yield a mash had been under development with the cooperation of the Borden Co.,Chicago, Illinois. Without question, my research goal was simple - the development of a mink pellet supportive of the top performance of the mink in all phases of the mink ranch year.
