Bright pelt markets, a top-grade speaking program, varied commercial exhibits and an opportunity to see old friends from across the continent attracted some 450 industry members to International Mink Show No. 50. The first show in the series was staged some 56 years ago, at Fort Atkinson, Wl. The 1997 exposition and competition drew an audience from across the United States and Canada to the southern Wisconsin resort at Oconomowoc now known as Holiday Inn Sunspree and earlier as Olympia and Scotsland.
