In this study, the effect of the cleaning process on dust emission through bag filters and the cleaning interval was experimentally examined. Three different filter cleaning processes of 'on-line', 'cleaning damper method', and 'off-line' were tested with various pulsing air pressures and filtration velocities. Among the three processes, the cleaning damper method showed lower dust emission than the others. In the off-line cleaning process, even 1 kg_f/cm~2 of air pressure could clean the filter effectively, while at least 6 kg_f/cm~2 of air pressure was needed for the on-line cleaning.
