CAN: In front of the development of spring demand, prices remain steady, around ?275 pt cif inland, plus/minus ?5 pt depending on the origin. Producers are officially holding out firm for ?285-289 pt, however traders report there is still EU tonnage easily available at ?270-275 pt. Polish tonnes are offered at ?280 pt cpt along the German/Polish border region. There are reports of offers of Ukrainian CAN at ?270-280 pt delivered. The real problem is the lack of strong demand ex farm/retail level.
