Along- with the support the government is providing aquaculture developers, the country offers growing opportunities for the farmingof fmfish and otlier sjiecies. Rancheros del Mar, for example, is raising longfin aniberjack and was the first company to ranch vellowfin tuna. As additional hatcheries are establish ed, mariculture should advance quickly.
