摘要

Poultry by-product meal can replace much of the fishmeal in shrimp diets. To better understand the nutritive value of the fat in PBM, the authors analyzed the fat components and conducted a feeding trial using regular and defatted PBM. There was no significant difference in weight gain, feed-conversion ratio or survival among shrimp fed the different diets. Supercritical fluid extraction removed most of the neutral lipids from poultry by-product meal, but retained most of the phospholipids in the meal.
