Last month I discussed the factors that I considered important in achieving uniform- and rapid rooting. The next important phase in poinsettia production is getting those cuttings properly established after planting. For some of us, we have let someone else root the cuttings while we went to the cottage on vacation. Now it is important to think about all the aspects crucial to rapid establishment as the cuttings arrive from the propagator.
