摘要

The debate raised by Baksi [1] about the radio-metric ages obtained on the Seneze tephra layers located below the upper transition of the Reunion event [2] is justified by the necessity of establishing accurate timing for large amplitude climatic fluctuations that affected the Earth surface environment during the last 2.4 Ma.
