Secure operation and control of a power system to provide reliable and uninterrupted power to the society, is the main objective of the load despatch organisation. The ever rising demand of power in the industrially developed Maharashtra State has made the system operation highly complex and a challenging task for the operator. The SCADA system of MSEB provides the operator, with flexibility of operation, both for the autonomous tasks in the State and coordination tasks in the Region, to derive benefits of integration alongwith other constituents. With in-house implementation of SCADA system, MSEB has the manpower with long experience, sufficient expertise and enough confidence to take up further assignments on its own.
