摘要

The influence of breed, parturition, sow fertility, sex of piglets and two of the seasons on heart injuries of sows under hypokinetic stress was observed, based on telemetric and stationary electrocardiographic data. It was found that Large White sowswere most susceptible to heart injuries in hypokinetic stress - 54%, followed by Hampshire with slightly lower sensitivity -51.3% and Landrace and crossbreds were less susceptible - 37.9% and 31 9%, respectively. Parturition as physiological stress hada weak effect on ECG changes. The number of sow fertility, number of litters and piglets born did not have a direct effect on the severity of heart injuries. Seasons did not affect heart activity considerably and their influence reflected mainly in deterioration of the systolic parameter of the heart, during hot months.
