Study of the Frequency of the Alleles of Locus K in Hen Lines from the Gene Pool

The aim of this study is to establish the frequency of the genotypes and alleles in populations of hens, with Line "D" and Line "B" from White and Red Rhodaland, Line "G" from Hewhampshire breed, Line "E" sinthetical, Line "99"- Plymouthrock breed, Line "SZ-80 M" and Line "SZ-80 B" (White and Red Rhodaland), Red Stara Zagora breed and Sussex raised in the Hybrid Centre of Poultry Raising of Stara Zagora. The genetic structure of the population in full domination was calculated according to the HardyWeitberg law which gives a notion about the frequency of the genotypes in the population and of traits by which no selection was conducted (random cross-breeding). Was determinate the genetic frequency of the alleles K and K~+ of locus K in hen linens, at selected, what may be used at future examination. In the male and female chicks studied by lines and breeds a higher frequency of allele K determimning the fast fledging was established. It was the highest in Line 99 both in females and males at 0.9848and 1. Of the highest frequency was the genotype K~+/K~+ in male and female chicks as in Line "99": K /K was 0.97 and 1. The frequency of the heterozygous individuals K/K was higher as compared to the homozygous carriers of the dominant allele K in males. The frequency of the dominant allele K was at the account of its presence in the heterozygotes K/K in males. In the Sussex breed the frequency of the genotypes and alleles for slow fledging was higher. The phenotypic manifestation was 88.79 % for slowand 11.22% for fast fledging in males and 88% for slow and 12% for fast fledging in females.
