List of the Species of Family Tortricidae in Bulgaria I. Subfamily Tortricinae

The moths belonging to the family Tortricidae in Bulgaria have been investigated by many entomologists as Bachmetev (1898), Rebel (1903), Buresh (1908,1918,1930), Drenovski (1906,1909, 1909a, 1920,1925,1929,1930,1932,1934), Tschorbadjiev (1915,1919,1919a, 1925,1927,1928), Marcowitch(1909,1910,1923), Tuleshkov (1930,1931), Amsel( 1938), Sofher( 1967), Tuleshkov, Nikolova,(1967), Slivov(1967,1970),Tzankov,Ovcharov( 1975), Velcheva(1991,1992,1993, 1996,2000,2001), Georgiev (2000), and many others. The aim of this work is to list known for Bulgarian fauna tortricides as till now no attempt have been done to report leafrollers found in our country. Perhaps, that is the reason, that in the book List of European Lepidoptera there are not all species of Tortricidae have been found in Bulgaria. The nomenclature of proff. Kuznecov (Medvedev, 1978) was used and to unified synonyms the precious work of Hannemann (1961), Leraut (1980) and Razowski (1996).
