Fertilizer Consumption in Turkey between 1960 and 2002

Fertilizer consumption was investigated in Turkey between 1960 and 2002 in this research. According to the results, N, P_2O_5 and K_2O consumption in this period was obtained from 9 678 to 1 199 130 tones; from 10181 to 474 418 tones and from 679 to 73 567 tones, respectively. Composed fertilizer consumption increased recently years in Turkey. Fertilizer consumption lower than both the world average and Europe average for per area. Consequently, fertilizer consumption should be increased in Turkey.
