摘要

Stimulation effects of low gamma radiation doses on some biological parameters related to the propagation of the entomophagous ectoparasitoid Habrobracon hebetor Say. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) have been studied. All irradiations were done with doses ranging from 5 Gy to 20 Gy. Treatment with dosage of 10 Gy resulted in considerable prolongation of both longevity and oviposition period of the female par-asitoids accompanied with significant increase of their fecundity. Evidently, the extended time foroviposition enables the irradiated females to realize on a larger extent their egg production. The experimented gamma radiation doses did not affect the actual reproduction of H. hebetor and its sex ratio in the filial generation. Irradiations with doses of 15 Gy and 20 Gy led to reduction of male longevity.
