Laser-Irradiation Caused Biochemical Changes of Cow Blood Serum

The post-laser irradiation content of total protein, protein fractions, some enzymes and macroelements in blood serum was studied. Trial animals were divided into two groups Cows of Group I (n=14) underwent fivefold irradiation in two main points - 49and 50 for 2 min and three additional points - 27, 28 and 29 for 1 min once a day. Cows of Group II (n=27) were irradiated in the area of the uterine cervix for 6 min, once a day for 5 days on end. We established that laser irradiation did not affect the contents of total protein, AP (acid phosphatase), CE, ASAT and ALAT-enzymes or that of macroelements calcium, phosphorus and potassium. Laser acupuncture caused changes in the protein fractions, such as increased percentage of albumin and A/G coefficient and, after topical irradiation of uterine cervix - increased content of ttpglobulins. After laser acupurfcture, AP-enzyme (alkaline phosphatase) content was reduced. Of the electrolytes, magnesium content increased in both cow groups. Sodium was alsofound to increase in cows of Group II.
