En utilisant la construction du p-compl<§t<§ de Bousfleld-Kan d'un espace, on obtient tout d'abord une version ((rigide)) de la p-completion proiinie do Artin-Mazur et Sullivan et l'on en de'duit une interpretation geometriqiie ((concrete)) du fonctour T introduit par J. Lannes (qui generalise celle de Dror-Smith). For each prime p, wo define a closed model category structure on the category of simplicial proflnite sets in which the weak equivalences are the maps which induce an isomorphism on continuous modulo p cohomology. Using the construction of Bousfleld-Kan p-completion of a space, we first obtain a ((rigid)) version of the profmite p-completion of Artin-Mazur and Sullivan and we deduce then a ((concrete)) geometric interpretation of Lannes' functor T (generalising that of Dror-Smith).
