摘要

A Mo(V) monophosphate involving cadmium has been synthesized for the first time. This new phase CdMoO2PO4 crystallizes in the P2(1)/c space group with a = 4.9229 (4) Angstrom, b = 8.550 (1) Angstrom, c = 11.418 (2) Angstrom, and beta = 109.193 degrees(9). This crystal structure can be described in two different ways, In a first description one considers a tridimensional host lattice [MoPO6](infinity) built up from Mo2O10 bioctahedra and monophosphate groups sharing their corners and forming tunnels running along a and b, where the Cd2+ cations are located with a distorted octahedral coordination. The Mo2O10 bioctahedra, that consist of two edge-sharing MoO6 octahedra, exhibit a geometry characteristic of Mo(V), with two abnormally short Mo-O bonds in the trans position with respect to the basal plane of the unit, corresponding to the free oxygen apices. In the second description one considers a pure octahedral framework [CdMoO6](infinity) built up from Cd2O10 and Mo2O10 bioctahedra. The latter share their edges forming [Mo2Cd2O18](infinity) ribbons waving along b. The assemblage of these ribbons forms a rather close packed framework, whose tetrahedral cavities are occupied by phosphorus. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc. [References: 3]
