Size Dependence of Feenberg Scaling

摘要

The Feenberg scaling procedure,as applied to Rayleigh-Schrodinger perturbation theory,is not size consistent;i.e.,the energy error E(AB) - E(A) - E(B) is nonzero if A and B are two different,noninteracting subsystems.The magnitude of this size inconsistency of the Feenberg scaling is determined and analyzed.
