摘要

Conventional farming practice is a very common in tea cultivation but it have often gives a lot of negative impacts such as soil erosion, increased of acidity, loss of organic matter, impairment of environment quality. In this context, a field experimental was carried out to study the effect of different doses of organic, bio and chemical fertilizer on tea crop productivity in Assam. The organic and bio fertilizer used as nutrient source, were cow dung (CD) and Azolla sp (A) along with recommended dose NPK fertilizer. The trial was conducted by using completely randomized block design (RCBD) with three replicates and six diffbiometric parameters such as leaves moisture and dry matter contents were analyzed after imposing treatments and found to be high in tea plants treated in T6. This finding confirms that the impact of Azolla sp. and Cow dung (CD) upon inorganic NPK nutrient exhibited improvement in the productivity and nutrient uptake in plants and retained in soil including quality parameters in tea plantations.
