A new cyclometalated rhenium(I)(CO)_4~+ complex

摘要

Reaction of Re(CO)_5Cl with 2-phenylbenzothiazole(H PHI BT)afforded the cyclometalated Re(CO)_4(PHI BT)complex with the molecular structure of the obtained product confirmed by X-ray investigations.Re(CO)_4(PHI BT)shows intense,hardly dependent on environment,luminescence originating from the pi-pi* PHI BT intraligand electronic transition.The investigated Re(CO)_4(PHI BT)complex can be considered as a potentially applicable"triplet emitter"for OLED devices.
