Synthesis and structure of branched carbosilanes with N-cores

摘要

The synthesis,structure and reaction behaviour of the branched carbosilanes 3a-c,consisting of a central nitrogen core and a silicon branching point,have been reported.The X-ray structure analysis of 3b reveals a spherical shape of the molecule with the silyl groups arranged in a propeller fashion.
