摘要

A new manganese thioantimonate(III), [Mn2(phen)(Sb_2~(III)S5)]_n (1) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), has been synthesized under hydrothermal reaction. X-ray single-crystal structural analysis reveals that 1 is a two-dimensional (2D) layer of (6,3) topology. Magnetism and thermal stability of 1 have also been investigated. Furthermore, 1 is a semiconductor with the band gap of E_g = 2.23 eV.
