Optically active triosmium cluster with bridging terpenic thioureato-like ligand-synthesis, structure, and absolute configuration

The reactions of (3bs,4aR)-3,4,4-trimethyl-3b,4,4a,5-tetrahydro-cyclopropa[3,4]cyclopenta[1,2-c]pyrazole-1-carbothioic acid (2-methyloxy-phenyl)amide (amide 1) containing a thiourea-like fragment >N-C(S)NHR with triosmium clusters Os_3(CO)_(12-n)(NCMe)_n (n = 1,2) and (#mu#-H)Os_3(CO)_(10)(#mu#OH) result in the formation of diastereomers with the #mu#_2 chelate-bridging by S and pyrazole N atom ligands. X-ray analysis ofone of the diastereomers was performed and its absolute configuration was determined.
