Unusual metal-organic frameworks [M(dtcp)2](SCN)2 [M = Zn,Mn;dtcp = 2,6-di(1>2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-4-chlorophenol] are composed of 2D rhombus-type grid networks associated mutually by remarkable Cl...Cl contacts and hydrogen bonds(C-H...N and C-H...S).Both thermogravimetric analysis and photoluminescence measurements are performed as well to characterize these supramolec-ular frameworks.
