The Regional Coffee Research Station (RCRS), Diphu is situated at Chutianala about 10 km from Diphu town, the district headquarter of Karbi Anglong district of Assam.It was established on 10th December, 1985 in 35.0 ha land allotted by the Karbi Anglong Autonomous District Council. The RCRS, Diphu is having an elevation of 170 meters above MSL with latitude of 25.85 North and a longitude of 93.49 East. This is the only research establishment to caters to the needs of the coffee growers of North Eastern Region.
