Drying coffee in the sun is a traditional and inexpensive method. But, in the recent past due to aberrations in the weather conditions, coffee growing regions are experiencing unseasonai rains during the harvesting period which is greatly impacting the processing of coffee. The coffee growers are increasingly finding it difficult to undertake proper drying of coffee.
