God works in mysterious ways. Prime Minister Gillard called the election for September 14. I am sure she and her advisers didn't realise, or even care, that it is also the Day of Atonement (or Jom Kippur), the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar. It is a day of reflection and intensive prayer - to make amends for the sins of the past. We, the voters in Australia, should also seek atonement for the wrongs we have committed against our country, for electing this incompetent, useless, dysfunctional and - in some instances corrupt - government in Canberra. Maybe God is attempting to tell us something! We need atonement and cleansing from la Gillard's wayward gang of politicians and parasitic public servants, who, due to their ineptness, havewasted vast amounts of our time and money.
