摘要

Auckland commuter ferry operator Fullers Group has taken delivery of its first domestically built vessel newbuilding in more than two decades, the 34-metre 'Te Kotuku' from Q-West Boat Builders.Handed over in September, the all-aluminium vessel features a 31.06 waterline length on a 9.5-metre beam and is the result of a fruitful working relationship between Q-West and Fullers dating back to 2005. According to Q-West General Manager, Colin Mitchell, the decision to order its first domestically built newbuilding since the 1980s was a considerable and exciting sea change for the Fullers, which until then had mostly opted for refurbishments and repowers of second-hand vessels.
