Q-West Boat Builders has just launched a 1 7-metre catamaran destined for a life of rubbish collection in Sydney Harbour to New South Wales Maritime. The catamaran work boat was commissioned in early May in Wanganui, New Zealand and subsequently shipped to her new home in Sydney. This vessel was envisaged as the ultimate in rubbish collection craft, designed by One2three Naval Architects, who drew on a progression of past vessels operated by New South Wales Maritime to create a truly unique craft.
