At Bridport in the island's north-east, a major location for access to Flinders and Bass Strait islands, work is proceeding unabated at Allan Barnett Fishing Company (ABFC), with impressive buildings underway and with a major refit and conversion of a fishing vessel to a pleasure craft recently completed, as well as a total, and very impressive, rebuild/makeover of another boat just completed.
