HHI delivers Capital boxships

Capital Shipmanagement has taken delivery of the first of two in a series of five 5,000teu box-ships from South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai HI. Alexandros and Aristotelis were delivered as Hyundai Prestige and Hyundai Premium respectively, to reflect their long-term charter to Hyundai Merchant Marine. These are the first boxships to be delivered to Capital Shipmanagement, which has, until recently, been mostly involved in the dry cargo and tanker sectors. Speaking in Piraeus, Greece at a Capital Shipmanagement reception to mark the handover of the ships, Evangelos Marina-kis, CEO of Capital commented: "These are demanding times for all of us. We are doing our utmost to serve as best as possible the needs of our clients for the years to come. With fuel prices high and increasing environmental responsibilities, we are investing in high performance, truly eco, environmentally friendly new tonnage."
