When Mike Meeker developed Meeker's Magic Mix his idea was to find an economical and environmentally friendly use for the waste from his trout-processing plant on the shore of Lake Huron at Manitoulin Island. The last thing he expected was a phone call from the Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).
