AquaCannon offers solution for low dissolved oxygen

The increasing frequency of low dissolved oxygen (DO) is a costly problem for marine fish farming companies in various parts of the world. Consequences of low DO include unsatisfactory feed conversion rates and lost feeding days which, in turn, reducegrowth rates and increase production costs. In extreme cases, low DO can cause high mortality levels in production fish. Now, the Seeley's Cove Research Centre in New Brunswick, a corporation belonging to co-owner Bill Jones and his wife Danielle, is researching solutions to low DO. Jones stressed that while fish farms can be seriously affected by low DO levels.
