Seafood processor gets funding boost

Alocal seafood processor in the town of Harbour Breton in Newfoundland, Canada received funding from the federal government in June to improve t aquaculture operations. Representatives for the municipality and seafood wholesaler Barry Group, which operates the processing plant in the area, say the investments made by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) will significantly improve operations and quality of the products processed on the Connaigre Peninsula where aquaculture is important driver of the economy.
