Combining information from data in mapping analysis: use of multiple markers and multiple traits.

摘要

This short review considers how best to use multiple markers and multiple traits in detecting quantitative trait loci (QTL) and analysing the nature of their genetic effects (i.e. dominance, epistasis, linkage disequilibrium, pleiotropy and interaction with the environment). The ability to detect QTL can be increased by using multiple trait analysis.
