摘要

The nondestructive determination of the ~(90)Sr and ~(89)Sr con-lent in a given sample is impossible due to the luck of character-istic gamma-lines for these pure beta~- emitters. This determination. however, is especially important in the ease of nueear accidents as Sr~(2+) isotopes are deposited, like Ca~(2+) into the hones where they damage the hlood-forming organs. an effect that is worsened by their long biological halt-life. In combination with the relatively high lonization density of the beta~- radiation released and the long physical half-life, this leads to a high radiotoxicity, especially for ~(90)Sr.
